Functional Skills

Functional skills are a qualification that is equivalent to a PASS grade in GCSE Maths/English, which is widely accepted by universities and other course providers. Here at Online Exams, we will be providing all of the information you need regarding the Functional Skills Exams, as well as where you can go to book them.

There are 2 different Functional Skills Exams, these are the Maths, and the English Exams, both of which can be found on the Pass Functional Skills site. Both of which will be challenging to pass for those who have not studied either subject for a number of years, this being because the exams will be just as hard as the GCSE ones. If you pass either Maths or English Functional Skills Exams, you will receive a certificate that will give you access to university courses, apprenticeships, as well as other course routes.

There are numerous different resources to suit all revision styles, however, we heavily recommend not using resources created before 2019, as the qualification was reformed that year. So all of the resources from before then will not be relevant to the exam that you will be taking. The resources that will be useful to you include revision cards, past papers, practice papers, and courses. All of which can be found at your Pass Functional Skills site.
