About the Qualification
Functional Skills Level 2 is an Ofqual approved qualification equivalent to a PASS grade in GCSE. So the equivalent to a grade C or 4 in either Maths or English, depending on which exam you will be taking. The qualification is designed around those, who for whatever reason, were unable to pass their GCSE Maths and/or English during high school. By passing the Functional Skills Level 2 exam, you will be opening doors in multiple areas.
As well as displaying that you have an understanding of high school level Maths or English. As the qualification is Ofqual approved, it will be required to follow a set of strict guidelines. Including a set curriculum laid out by the government. Helping to guarantee that the qualification you receive can be used anywhere in England.

How the Online Exam Works
As it is an online exam, it will be taken from the comfort of your own home. So there will be no need to travel anywhere in order to take the exam. This, however, will not make the exam itself easier. As strict exam conditions will have to be maintained. To ensure that this happens, you will be monitored by one of our highly trained invigilators.
