How to get maths GCSE quickly
Here at Pass Functional Skill’s Online Exams, our goal is to keep you informed regarding all aspects of exams and their qualifications. Today we will be focusing on GCSE Maths, in particular, how to get a maths GCSE quickly. However, this is not as simple as many would think, as there is a lot that needs to be taken into consideration. All of which we will cover in this article.
The biggest thing to consider when looking into the different choices is when the exam can be taken. For a GCSE exam, it can only be taken 3 times throughout the year, and are always paper-based. So you will have to travel to an exam centre to take the exam. With this option, there is no flexibility, and if you are in a rush, you won’t have many choices.
Meanwhile, the best option to get a maths GCSE quickly would be a Functional Skills Level 2 exam. Which is a qualification regulated by Ofqual, so it will be accepted by most universities and jobs in the UK. Unlike the GCSE exam, an FS exam can be taken anytime throughout the year, and the results usually come back within 2 weeks. So you can finish the process in under a month. And since an FS qualification is worth a grade C, there is a lot less content to revise for.
In conclusion, how to get maths GCSE qualification really depends on the time of year, and when the result deadline is. But for many, we would highly recommend the Functional Skills Level 2 qualification.
