MME’s subsidiary, Courses and Exams, has been selected as a DfE-Approved provider for the National Tutoring Programme, which is solely available to schools and facilitated through students subject teachers. The programme provides tutoring in science, English, and maths, and is presently geared towards GCSE students, with the possibility of expansion in the future. What is the National Tutoring Programme?

The National Tutoring Programme was originally implemented to provide additional support in response to the pandemic’s impact on education. It was established to supply schools with extra funding to improve students’ academic performance through tuition. Due to the program’s continued effectiveness, it has since been extended beyond its initial objective

How does the NTP funding work?

Under the National Tutoring Programme, schools can access funding of £162 per Pupil Premium student, which can be allocated to support any student. The funding is distributed thrice yearly in September, December, and April. Schools may claim up to 60% of the tuition cost, subject to a maximum cap of £18 per hour per student
