Functional Skills Level 1

Functional Skills Level 1 is a qualification that is equivalent to a PASS grade (a C/4) in Maths and/or English. It is equivalent to a SAT's qualification, which is what you receive at the end of primary school. By passing the exam and receiving your qualification. You will be displaying a basic understanding of Maths and/or English at a primary school level. The qualification itself is primarily used to gain access to high school or other equivalent education. As well as basic, entry-level jobs. To ensure that said qualification will be accepted anywhere, it is Ofqual approved. Meaning that it follows the set curriculum, set by the government. Ensuring that it will be accepted by any education or training provider.
